Telephony experts chosen as Itl's preferred billing partnerSeattle, WA - March 3, 1999 - International Telcom Ltd., the premier provider of international and long distance telecommunications announces Telephony Experts as its preferred billing partner for its new service, WebKall. Scheduled for a spring release, WebKall is ITL's second IP product since it released Faxaway in October of '95.
Telephony Experts which provides ITL with a real-time billing, web interface and e-commerce software solution, enables WebKall to be a comprehensive, on line billing and customer service product. Telephony Experts' software offers value-added features like real-time VoIP, prepaid billing, authentication, Web-based interface and e-commerce abilities.
"ITL remains committed to offering our customers online solutions with the excellent customer service and quality they've come to expect," said Joel Eisenberg, ITL's President and CEO, "Telephony Experts enables WebKall to be a fully functional, on line service that is innovative yet simple for customers to use."
Utilizing Telephony Expert's software, Communications, WebKall will offer quality service, providing free software, no monthly fees and increased low rates on domestic and international calls. ITL will implement the VocalTec Ensemble Architecture that will support a multi-vendor and multi-service environment. These include Vocal Tec Telephony Gateway series, the VocalTec Gatekeeper and the VocalTec Network Manager that offers centralized control over the routing and management of inter- and intra-domain IP telephony traffic. These components will work together with VocalTec's specialized servers including Internet Call Waiting, PC-to-Phone, fax-to-fax and phone-to-phone.
ITL and Telephony Experts plan to continue working together to create a completely automated product that offers customers the independence and control of a fully functional Web-based interface.
